Bad price for a refurb. Amazon has had this new on sale for around $185 recently.

#1 you don't know what you are talking about. I bought the refurb for $170 on amaz0n. It comes with the T version which has freem FM traffic for life. The new one on amaz0n does not come with FM traffic. That part alone cost nearly $100 so this is a good deal. Only thing is the touchpad on this model is very innacurate. However it's not like you are playing games on the thing. Set it and go. Otherwise it's the best GPS for the money. I have gone through 3 other models.

Reviews said 765's models got bad batteries, just hold up ~ 2 hours. Is that right?

Why are you worried about the batteries? Mine is hooked up in the car all the time. Are you going to take it bike riding?

Turn the brightness down. I have been running mine on batteries for 30 min drives days w/o an issue. You can even leave it unplugged (leave the FM transmitter plugged into the GPS) and the traffic still works.

Update: Yes the battery life does suck on this. However, unless you need it as a pedestrian (my guess is no) then there is really no need for that to be a problem. Just leave it plugged in.
