this is a good model. price is good too. not sure about refurb., if there are mapupdate issues or not but again, the price is good considering it's a $350 unit new.

Has anyone tried a refurb navigation? I would never buy a refurbished computer... Do navigations have problems when its refurbished?

There have been posts here and elsewhere claiming that newegg's refurbs are nothing more than customer returns they want to get rid of. GPS's have been sent without basic components etc. Warranties are only continuation of the one given to the prior owner of the item. You can see http://bensbargains.net/deal/115714/ post #2. You can also google for newegg refurb warnings or something like that.
