Isn't this one is being recalled? I've heard there's a glitch in the software making it stop/frozen from time to time.

I disagree with you, #1. This unit has the "lane assist" feature. If you have missed the exits sometimes, you will like this feature. This unit also has lifetime traffic like the 265WT. However, yes I will buy the much cheaper 265WT because I think I can survive without "lane assist" and "3D building."

And if you don't care about the "lifetime traffic" (which is blamed not updated fast enough) and about bluetooth, then get the 255W.

Eh, yes, if I am richer, I will get the 765T.

If you don't need bluetooth, go for the 755t which is a 765t minus bluetooth.

Amazon had 765T for $330 for a while before. Also, Sam's Club has 765T for $329 and 275T for $228. I know you have to pay tax but you have better warranty and return policy at Sam's Club. Due to recession, I'll wait for 765 to drop below $300.

This a good retailer, but I'm trying Magellan this time because my Nuvi was such a piece of #$%$. Slow to acquire satellites, arrive too early or too late.

Which GPS's allow you to customize your routes? Or better yet, what is the "feature name" of being able to customize routes? A google search of it didn't really help me much....

would you prefer a Navigon 8100T for $300 over this Garmin 765T?
