I still like the Navigon GPS units better. Free real-time traffic updates, preloaded Zagat's reviews. Be sure that you aren't just paying for the Garmin name!

7x5T series is supposed to have all of the featured that were missing from the 7x0 series like lane tracker and free traffic for life. What they are still missing is small town points of interest. But that's where 3'd party POIs come in. The first thing I'll do with mine is add the redlight camera database. That's been very handy in my 350.

This is one of their higher end models and it's the lowest price I've seen for this model

good price for a great unit - I'm somewhat disappointed by the deals this year - I'm going to hold out until mid-December when the panic really starts setting in.

I think navigon offers more value with similar features like free lifetime traffic and lane assist for example.

I have had several gps units and by far the worst one was navigon. It would tell me to get off the freeway 2 exits early and take surface streets. It would also crash every once in a while. I have had nothing but good experiences with Garmin. I'm currently using a DASH which I think isn't available any more, but has the best traffic support.

What extra features do you get with this pricier model? I don't suppose it's worth it...

Bought the Garmin 205 today.. charged it, and while I was increasing volume it restart. Map said 2009 but the exit near my house closed last year still showing on the map. It's now reture back to the store.

I still like my Mio 310 more.
