Why is the batt life going down?!?
I have a c550 (couple years old now) that I love for it's capability, and it lasts for around 8 hours on a single charge. Of course, it plugs into the lighter socket when in the car, but if I use it while walking/commuting in a strange city, it stays useful for around 8 hours.

... because CE manufacturers are rodeo cowboy who think consumers want devices 3 millimeters smaller and/or $4 cheaper even if it cuts runtime by 40% or more.
