Walmart has the Garmin Nuvi 855 4.3" Touchscreen GPS for $139 with free shipping. Features spoken commands, auto-reroute, route avoidance, lane assistance with junction view, and it even remembers where you parked. If you prefer, Amazon also has it for $139 shipped.
No question, this is the best model of the entire Garmin line. Also the best price yet! The voice-menu is really good stuff, and the purchase entitles you to a free map upgrade within 60 days. Add lifetime traffic capability (GTM-20, NavTeq service) for $70 on eBay.
Best model as long as you can live with freeze ups and bad battery life. There is a reason it sells so cheap. Check the reviews at Amazon before becoming another victim. You are better off with the 255W
Reviews on Amazon give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. A couple of the 1 star reviews involve using it in China (some kind of Chinese government conspiracy) and someone typing in ALL CAPS.
255W is OK. Lacks FM transmitter and multi-point routing of the 855, both are deal killers for me.

You are a complete liar. There are 32 one star reviews, not a couple, and 23 two star reviews. Freezing is more of a deal killer than an FM transmitter and multi-point routing.
"the unit freezes up a lot, and sometimes it will only unfreeze if you remove the battery."
"Almost immediately it began to freeze up."
"Problem is, its favorite trick is to freeze up.
"So I would say if you don't mind pulling over once in a while to reset your GPS and keeping a hawk eye on it to make sure it hasn't frozen recently, definitely get this one."
"The freezing of the screen became more and more frequent and for sequentially longer periods."
"The Garmin Nuvi 855 is the worst GPS I have owned. The first one I purchased froze while I was in route. The second one, which I exchanged for the first defective one, completely froze before taking a 300 mile trip."
"Usual problems - drains battery overnight (even if turned off)), sometimes "
"Froze After Attempting to Set The First Destination"
"Freezing navigation makes using this unit unusable."
"In reading everything that it's supposed to do I am amazed because all mine does is freeze up."
