I am happy with my c550, now is $50 at Newegg.

I don't see myself using the mp3 feature on this. I think anyone with an iPod would feel the same. Better to pay less for a more basic model, IMO.

Anyone know how fast it initializes vs the 265WT with the hotfix?

Got my order in before the price goes back up (like it already did at Costco). The temporary drop in prices was due to the bad press on the 'lock-up problem' that the firmware had on the earlier units. Garmins website has the fix out that's going into the current models out the fab.... so buy these on-the-shelf and install the firmware fix an save some $$$$! Should work as well as my current Nuvi 350.

This coupon code ADA15 is not valid and expired sometime in June according to Meijer customer service, although when you use it the following message comes up as you are checking out.

"This promotion code is accepted, but another condition must be met before your savings will show. This could be a specific payment type, shipping method or product."

Please note that the it does indicate that the promotion code is accepted.....but so far they will not honor it when I talked to CS. I have elevated to the supervisor and waiting for his call.
