Way overpriced. This used to be sold for $429 Brand new at J&R. Wanna trade 9 mos of warranty, the Free Windows 7 Upgrade option (and somebody else's greasy hands already being on it) for a measly 60 bucks?
Hm.....if this had 7 I'd buy this for my little brother. But with VISTA? Hell no!!
RS says: new or used cnet says its 5th on the best comps to buy ... but i agree if it had 7 itd b a go but not with vista
So... install Win7
this machine qualify free win7 upgrade, just go to http://www.gateway.com/windows7upgrade/ and input the SN and they will send you the win7 in 2 weeks
does the win7 upgrade apply to a refurbished computer?
yes it does
I just checked, the win7 upgrade expired 1/31. Too bad.
I have one.
So far so good.
Pathetic PSU (220W).
Lousy on-board video (Intel X4500).
Was cheap when I bought it.
This refurb "deal" is way overpriced.
