Could this possibly be better than Dell's 24" monitor? $630 seems expensive when the Dell can be had in the $500's nearly every week during their deals.
I saw this at Best Buy a year ago (for about the same price), and it didn't look that sharp. However, it was undoubtedly hooked up to an analog source, and the picture was not optimized either, so it's not a fair comparison. The inputs on the GW cover the field mostly, and at least they put in the USB hub.
Still doesn't rock my world at $630, since you'll have to pay tax with BB. Seems like the low $600's are where the 24 inchers got stuck for a while.
I have the Dell 2405 and my friend has this Gateway 24". The picture is the same, I can see no difference. The optional speaker bar for the Dell can be picked up on ebay for under $20.
#1, read this and decide for yourself

i am waiting for 24" WS LCD's to come down in price to $300. How long will that take?
i remember my girlfriend bought an Envision 17" LCD for $500, 4 years ago. (now it costs less than $100.) So...maybe 2 years?
I think 22" will be around $200 but not less.
24" has too many people shelling out the big bucks
