Vista went out in the 1880's.
#5 that would depend on how much you use it and what you use it for.
I had a gateway laptop and the battery lasted 2 years.

well I have it for more than a year. I bought it last Christmas and I bought the refurbished version for $530 and it had 160Gb instead of 250Gb hdd and 3Gb of memory instead of 4Gb. So far so good. I got to say I love this laptop
