#1: I don't think they'll be open either tomorrow, or the next day after that. MORON, they went out-of-business back in the beginning of this year. Save the money on gas, and put it towards a brain, not a laptop.

I sort of disagree with #3. I think AMD's procs definitely score lower than Intel's on basically every benchmark test performed recently. That said, they are typically a less expensive solution. This laptop isn't meant to be a super strong work horse.

If you want a reason to avoid it, do so because it's a Gateway. They generally suck.

If I were to invest $500 dollars I wouldn't do so on Gateway. I never had Gateway computer before but I never heard anything good from them.
