Don't make the mistake I did and buy a Gateway.
My laptop needed repairs 5-6 times in last 3 years. Gets extremely hot. Battery is worthless and cost over $100 to replace
Save your $ and get a Lenovo or Dell
But the price is so good.....
Gateway bought eMachines, yes? I'm not terribly surprised to see a Gateway laptop that overheats. The older eMachines laptops had the same problem.

I think a lot of the older laptops over heats based on the laptops I have used. I believe the newer laptops are better with the heat management.
I have been using this laptop a lot over the last 2 months. It has run great. No complaints. I bought it for $400. Can they make money selling these as configured with Vista at this price?
