I like mine. It's very handy for when you only want to carry a few tools for a project.

top heavy, have to maintain control since many times it is not centered over nut (depends on the pins, not the shape of the socket for alignment), low torque application, and this model is for size 1/4-3/4--there is one more for larger size range 7/16-1 1/4. I personally recomm. the smaller one for smaller size bolt/nuts as larger bolt/nut will require greater torque that this design may not handle consistently. BTW using this scratches the h..ck out of your nuts/bolt when done, so not for use on finishing fasteners!! Hope this helps.

Also useful for many types of "tamper proof" fasteners, such as 5 sided bolt heads.

I would never use this for wheel locks, will scratch the hell out of them. Also, good luck if your lug nuts are recessed. I recommend having, you know, the key to your wheel locks. Why not just keep it in the glove box?

Handy addition to an inadequate tool set but you're better off just taking and using the right sized socket, the granularity of it's adjustment depends on the size of the pins so you will find difficult nuts and bolts like those rounded or rusted are even more difficult.

I'm told these are good as a last resort - e you've stripped the nut, or can't find the right sized socket, but just have to get it off and don't care what it looks like afterwards.

Come to think of it #8, I believe we might have dated the same woman. She was top-heavy and she scratched the hell out of my nuts, but I just had to get her off and didn't care what she looked like afterwards.
