I wonder if there's yet a device to record an HDMI stream to disk. I know it violates DMCA/DRM/etc but who gives a fuq? I figure some Chinese store like DX would be selling it by know.

Similar to every day price on monoprice website ($8.55). If this is the only thing you need, Meritline will be cheaper since monoprice charges shipping.
