Significantly better than the Mike Tyson grill which takes a bite out of anything you cook.

I'd be interested if the grill plates could be removed for washing. I had a much more expensive panini maker and ended up selling it because it was just too much hassle to clean.
I agree with #2 if you can't remove the grill plates don't bother & no you can't remove the plates on this model.

the plates are nonstick and there's a plastic thing that can help you clean it, i have one of those basic models and cleaning it has never been a problem.
something doesnt add up, there are two bun tops in the picture but 2 patties... where are the bun bottoms?
