These are useful for when you want to quickly grill up something but don't want to heat up the BBQ or the oven. This size is really small though, really only fits 1 steak or grilled cheese sandwich on it at a time.
my grandparents have this and they love it. they said it cooks the meat from both sides and the meat comes out good and tender. perfect for two people and good price also.
