It's made by Gerber, so I can only assume it's for cutting babies.
If you need a melee weapon for zombie defense, get a chainsaw instead.

Too loud. The noise of a chainsaw will attract every zombie in the neighborhood.
I believe the Gerber Gator Machete Jr is more appropriate for cuttin babies.
