Nice, this motherboard has a Firewire port and an eSATA port on the back (and, presumably, a header for a case-mounted Firewire port).

    People still use Firewire?

    USB 3 is out now.

#2, I doubt that existing Firewire devices will magically grow USB 3 interfaces, so what is your point? Firewire is still the standard for dumping video from DV cameras, and it's nice to have Firewire built-on instead of having to use up an expansion slot on a mATX motherboard.

Too bad it doesn't seem to have ACC function - otherwise I will jump in 4 1..

I have a couple Gigabyte boards and like them. But their repair service is pitiful. I send one in for repair last year and because there was a tiny bit of peeling on one of the corners they refused to fix it. The damage had nothing to do with the functionality of the board it was cosmetic. Because of that I have considered other boards and purchased a Biostar over a similar Gigabyte board last time.

#5, If you ever have another peeling PCB you can repair it with clear finger nail polish or hardener.

It has ACC in the BIOS, #4.

The following Motherboard/Processor combo with free shipping looks like a nice deal, but note that the $10 discount code won't work with it, and the OEM processor will require a cooler:

If the corners were peeling because it was dropped after delivered, they have an excuse.

If it was peeling or damaged to cause it prior to being accepted at point of delivered it should be covered under the shipper's obligation or seen as a manufacturing defect.

Point being, even if a board works if you receive and accept it with cosmetic damage it may come back haunt you later.

#4 This board have a ACC, I own two, Most South Bridge 710 and Mother board 790 have ACC.. When I bought the first one, I like it so much I bought another one.. Got it as a combo Athon II 240 cpu Paid 90 bucks last year. Over clock the 240 cpu to 3.75ghz. works nice, No problem at all. The second one, I bought during BF and paid 50 bucks A/R. One is running XP Pro and another is running Window 7 pro. Can't think of any cons. If 70 bucks fit your budget, Just buy it. is worth it..
