It can cut a tomato! It can cut a tin can! It can cut a diamond! It can even cut your hand! Now how much is it worth?

Agreed, stainless steel makes for a poor knife. A clever doesn't need to be sharp for chopping, but it won't slice and dice.

Why do you want to buy this for the neighbor's dog? Can the dog really use this cleaver?

Just watched Hell on Wheels series 2 back to back and a cleaver was featured to great effect in the abottoir scenes. If you were not impressed with series 1 try 2. There is no comparrison.

Finding the right Christmas gift for that neighborhood dog that has everything is difficult...

How about a squeaky ball or a pack of hotdogs instead?
