relax... there are many legit uses for these. We give them to temp workers all the time for projects. It's a cheap phone you don't have to worry about getting back or damaging/losing. It's a set cost liability, no bills, paperwork, etc. The cost is upfront and can be charged right away.
can you just swap in your current ATT sim card into one of these? I have a phone that's crapping out and would like to use one of these as a replacement
#4, I am trying to do it but is having some problem. I can't get any signal when I plug in my regular cingular sim card.it's even worse than just locking it....
i don't know if those unlock code can do anything about this feature.
however, getting one of this is still a deal coz the battery and charger already cost me more than that.

#4 you should have NO PROBLEM swapping your sim card. I just did it last week on the Nokia 2610. by the way, if you plan to use your phone outdoors during daylight do not by the 2610. it has a nice looking (when off) mirror finish to the display, making it nearly impossible to read in daylight. also make sure to activate your go phone within 28 days or it is no longer only 9.99!
