Anyone who shops at Rite-Aid is a baconeer. I only shop at Walgreens because they are a real American company founded by a Texan. Anyone who disagrees is a traitor to this great country and is probably an illegal alien.

Just a note about the A437. I bought a refurbished one and now it likes to randomly shut off. This was just after 2 or 3 months of use. While in the middle of a call or just laying on the table it turns off. So be wary of the refurbs.

And be very wary of getting mixed up with AT&T.

Can't speak to the phone, but for casual cell phone users, T-Mobile To Go is about the best deal going. If you buy $100 worth of air time, you get $0.10/minute rates and the minutes don't expire for 12 months. Just before they expire, you can add $10 to extend the expiration for another year. My average mobile phone service cost is about $7/month. Beats the heck out of $40+/month for a regular plan. Of course, that $40/month gets you a "free" phone...

I use T-Mobile's prepaid plan and agree that it's vastly superior to anything being offered by AT&T. The only downside is they don't have as large a coverage area, but I haven't yet run into any difficulties with that. If you live in a remote area, though, be sure to check out their maps before you sign up.

#7 what are you a liberal or just a plain old baconeer? That was obviously a trick question because they are the same thing.

Don't mess with Texas son or you get the horns.

Perhaps Texas and Korea can form some sort of alliance. They seem full of people with similar interests, at least judging by what gets posted here.

I too can vouch for T-mobile To Go. $100 for 1000 minutes good for a year. Read the fine print on the other plans (you have to keep putting on money constantly or your time expires). T-mobile is the way to go on prepaid.

The A437, which used to be very easy to unlock to any network, now is being shipped with new coding, making it very difficult to unlock. This deal is no longer what it used to be as far as getting a decent, cheap AT&T phone (quad band)...and being able to use it anywhere in the world on any network. I have one of the older ones that was obtained for $19 a while back and full unlockable. I had a software upgrade (language and menu) in a foreign country and the phone works very well. I will soon give it to a Korean prostitute, so she can tell me "love you longtime" and "burp sucky for 5 bucky" long distance, when I am back in the land of the free.
