AT&T Wireless is offering several refurbished GoPhone Pay As You Go phones for as low as $10 (based on ZIP code) with free shipping. No annual contract required. The pictured Nokia 2610 GoPhone is $10 with free shipping, and includes most goodies you'd want in a phone.

I've had great luck with Tracfone; I've used them for years. If you're not addicted to a cell phone, these pay-as-you-go services are great.

Check out the T-Mobile website prepaid phone deals. You can get the Nokia 2610 free after rebate and you get $30 free airtime. I've had T-Mobile prepaid for years and think it's the best prepaid deal out there.

10 minutes = 2 dollars on plan 1. Plan 2 is 8 minutes for 2 dollars. The only draw back to plan 1 is your calls must be at least 5 minutes or longer to make it worth it. Big talker use plan 1. Short and to the point..plan 2.
    plan 1
    1 min 1.10
    2 min 1.20
    3 min 1.30
    4 min 1.40
    5 min 1.50
    6 min 1.60
    7 min 1.70
If you talk less than this per call the .25 per min plan is best for you.

    Plan 2
    1 min 25
    2' 50
    3 75
    4 100
    5 1.25
    6 1.50
    7 1.75
if you talk longer than this the .10 plan is best for you.

I use net 10 , always 10c a minute regardless of where I am or where I call. Had great service, superb reception, no complaints so far ..

    #3, 10 minutes for $2 is still a bad deal. I get 20 minutes for $2.

Check your local walmart or buy online. You get 300 minutes plus a decent free new phone, all for $30 - no 10 pound bricks here.

I like the pre-paid Virgin Mobile plan, 18c/min no matter what, auto renewal means the cost is $5/month

I too have used VirginMobile for 6 yrs and love them. I had the 25c for the first 10 min/day then switched to 18c/min all the time and am grandfathered in.

I also have 5c/text. Plus, it is only $15 every 90 days. I also bought a Shuttle phone from Best Buy and don't have to pay anything for a whole year unless I need to tobaconp sooner. I don't though & have a $180 credit balance as I used to buy $100 for a year of service like Verizon Prepaid.

It's not just the minutes, but the 'service' fee also. In that regards, tracfone comes out better if you only use the phone once in a while.

My vote goes to T-Mobile, where $100 will buy you 1,000 minutes that are good for a year. And after that, it only takes $10 a year to keep your account active. Certainly a better deal than anything AT&T offers.
