Advance Auto Parts (http://www.advanceautoparts.com/) has a similar set on sale this week for $4.88.
I'm looking forward to the Nice Tits 28 Piece Screwdriver set.
good deal on butter metal
Posting to be gross, is gross
This will most likely break while in transit.
Sounds like cheap quality from the Amazon reviews. But for under 5 bucks, you can't really complain.
The ratchet will last five minutes or less. Watch for the spring inside escaping just before it disintegrates. Figure getting a real one at a yard sale, or even a whole set of real tools cheap when the old codger down the block croaks.
For any home use stuff you should really pick up Craftsman stuff from Sears. They're decently well built, and if they break, they have a lifetime warranty. All you gotta do is just walk in with your broken tool and they'll let you walk out with a new one. Hassle free.
Under $5.00 is good for using it as a filler to get the Free Super Saver Shipping.
Their sockets are not too bad, and they have a lifetime warranty.
#2....Way too funny!
#8, not always true. I went to Sears, showed them my broken tool and then ..... well lets just say that I can never again go to Sears, the judge was very specific about that.
#12 way too funny! Actually since my kids 'borrow' my tools, then lose them, I buy these cheapo sets for them, great Christmas stuffers. Its just as easy to lose a $1 socket as a $4 socket, and not as painful.
This is good enough for the price. You're definitely paying for quality when it comes to rachet sets. I suggest paying a bit more to get a good set -- better than replacing stripped bolts, busted rachets, and worn sockets.
alot of tools have lifetime warrenties but how easy it is to exchange is a whole different story. Personally Im too lazy to send in a socket when it breaks. I buy from sears for the reason I can take it back easily, you can my the compansion brand and it has the same warrenty as craftsman but they are way cheaper.
