Can this get digital channels? If not, what is the point of a portable TV that can't pick up over-the-air channels?. Why not but a portable DVD player for around the same price.

ATSC is the new digital standard - if it receives that as it says it does, then you can watch the digital channels.

Oh, and the resolution is 480x234, for those of us who count red, green and blue as 1 pixel, rather than 3. You'll notice that Panasonic, Samsung and Sony don't say their screens are 5760x1080...

Nice catch schmoe, I wouldn't have noticed that misrepresentation.
    Keep up the good work.

I have one of these, this is a very cheap price for it. Simple to use and has a sharp, clean picture. Can show DVD signals from an attached DVD player.

It works fine but the tiny antenna that comes with it won't give you much of a signal.

In some places in LA a $17 Radio Shack antenna worked just fine for all the channels and in other places very little at all even though all the transmission towers are on the same mountain, just the broadcast strength determines the reception.

Radio Shack had these on line for $150 but Ama zon had them for about $125. At $105 it is a good little TV, take it to the ball game and watch the close ups, battery is good for about two hours.
