This would be nice to mount in the car. Not sure though if the ports are in or out. I would like to connect iPod to it so I can play some movies.
Supplied antenna is worthless; you'll need a better one.
With included antenna, outdoors, I picked up 1 station out of 12.
Hooked up a home made antenna, inside and picked up all 12.
#1: #2 is right. But you still have a great value here if you use it only as the display for your iPod.
There are two composite-mode jacks, each of which uses the one included cable: a triple-RCA to single in-line plug. The set's input jack accepts signals for video, audio-left, and audio-right. The set's output jack emits signals for audio-left and audio-right but emits no signal on the video line. That is, the set accepts audio and video; but it only emits audio.
A reminder: in a moving vehicle no digital TV can display the pic or sound from an over-the-air station.
