uh, as noted by Ben, the travel lid refers to the fact that you can take the jar w/ you and use it as a glass.

I used HB blender for my post workout drink (fruit/protien smoothie). It is a nice blender but its capacity is too small (~12oz?) and does not blend well with ice. I returned it and get Back to Basic personal blender for $17 which has a bigger jar (~24oz) and strong motor (double of HB). I also don't need to look at the blade (integrated with the hamilton drinking jar) every time I drink the smoothie, and it is easier to clean the B2B jar than the HB jar (due to the blade)

I have the white one and I use it all the time. Its not powerful, so don't put ice cubes in there, but its great for mixing protein drinks or making salsas.

I just wish you could buy extra containers.

I'm with #6 on this. I owned this Hamilton Beach blender but as he says, it wouldn't chop ice and when I tried the motor blew out. After that I got my Back to Basics blender, which I love. It has a stronger motor and a chopping blade.
