Good deal. I got one last time from buy.com. I'm using it as a tv with a Viewsonic tuner box. Works well but the speakers are weak.

It is a low-end monitor, practically anything else is better,
BUT
practically anything else costs more in 19" size,
so,
you gets what's you pays for.

I purchased a Hanns-G for $199 from Office depot on Sep 28, 2006. I mailed the rebate form, UPC, and receipt on Oct 17, 2006.

I got an email today (Nov 2, 2006) saying the rebate received. I clicked the link provided took me to a RebateHQ.com page. The page indicates my rebate is invalid for "invalid purchase date" and "invalid post mark date".

The rebate's term: must purchased between "8/07/2006 - 10/31/2006"
The rebate must submit beforre 11/31/2006.

Wow.. my post mark date is invalid before 11/31/2006?? And my purchased date Sep 28,2006 is ouside 8/07 - 10/31 2006??

I called 800-GO-Depot and got the number above. I was told the mail-in saving center only open for business days. Since it's 9:00PM Friday, it might be closed. I just made several called and the call was dropped once I press "1" for "invalid rebate problem...". I guess I'll have to call them next Monday.
