Looks good based on the specs and the 1 review on Newegg. Never heard of the brand though so can never know for sure.

Now that would wake you up looking at that while working. Might have to try this one out!

Does any one know if Hanns-G and Hannspree are the same company?

Have a couple Hanns-G 19" lcd's at home. Always seemed good quality, never ran into any issues with them. The 3-year warranty is definitely a good feature, though I've never had to deal with them on a warranty issue.
For this price, and seeing as I was looking for a replacement monitor anyways, I decided to go for it. Too bad it's Wednesday, since they probably won't ship it before tomorrow, and likely I won't get it before Monday, or I'd be happy to tell you how much I like or dislike it.

Please do note that the coupon code is only good for today. Smile

I bought a couple Hanns-G 19" montiors a couple years ago, have been very happy with them. I would not hesitate to buy again. Don't know about this particular model.

I purchased a Hanns-G 19" a long time ago and it has worked great especially for the price, no dead pixels. However viewed next to a Samsung that I also have you can tell the difference. For the price this is probably a good deal but I am looking for something with 1200 lines.

Monitors bigger than 23" with 1080 lines does not make any sense to me. If I am going with 1920x1080, I would rather get the Asus for around 170.

i bought a 21" or 22" hanns-g monitor about a year ago. it works fine. but i remember there was a $50 rebate for it that they denied me even though i mailed in all the proper paperwork. not sure if that's to blame on the rebate company or hanns-g though.

Everyone says "works great for the price" what about to other monitors at the same size but more expensive?

Might go for it if this was 1200 instead of 1080. Also, I remember a previous Hanns-G monitor Ben posted where the Newegg reviews questioned the longevity of the monitor. I guess at this price it's not too big of an investment.

I have a 19 inch Hanns-G and a 28 inch Hannspree (same company) and I love them both, very happy with both of those purchases. 3 year warranty is a huge plus too.

Is it just me, or are LCD monitors getting ridiculously cheap?

They are making way for newer cheaper LED monitors.

I'm fairly sure hannsg and hannspree are the same company. I have the hannspree version of this monitor and every spec is exactly the same. Absolutely love it. Typical TN panel issues with backlight and view angle but really not noticeable if you are infront of the monitor like you should be. I use it primarily for my xbox 360 and its perfect.

Only complaints are that the audio passing through from hdmi to headset is much lower and the stand for it sucks.

I don't want anything to do with 1920x1080 monitors.
    Give me real estate. 1920x1200!
