Best Buy has the Hannspree HF-257HPB 25" 16:9 Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HD Monitor for $260 + shipping. Shipping is $15, or pick up in-store to avoid the shipping fee.
1920x1080 resolution, 2ms response time, 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio 300 cd/m2 brightness, 2 built-in speakers and Dual HDMI inputs.
My smaller Hannspree monitor turned out OK, still cranking away after 3 years with no problems. However, the price doesn't seem like a deal on this. I'd expect under $200, since I bought my 22-incher for $89, after rebate.
1920x1080 resolution for the 25"? ... No thanks ... BTW this price ain't a deal at all! rather get the Samsung TOC 24"
What about the dual HDMI inputs? Does it have a built in 'KVM'?
seriously...and this will probably be a sub-$200 monitor by the end of the month.
Yeah. $260 is pretty high for that size/company. Their I-Inc brand 28" monitor can be bought at ~$279 when on sale at Newegg. One of the Hardware Engineers in charge of our test systems in the lab I was working in bought 3 of them that way. They're surprisingly good monitors after tweaking the settings to correct levels. Now I'm spoiled to have been able to work on such a freaking huge screen like that.
Good deal for worstbuy though.
