So like 1000 ppl buy this, 400 say it sucks and return it? Then they resell it as a refurb? That's why they have so many to sell?

New ones don't seem to available anymore unless you like Latin keyboards. I would be worried about support and warranty on these. More powerful than a netbook at the same price. As I recall the touchpad was a frequent compliant. Still seems like a lot of bang for the buck if it meets your needs.
