    I F-ing hate that they call this a PVR. It's NOT - it's an encoder. Nothing more nothing less. A PVR is something records video and this does not do that.

    I know this is a little late, but yea it encodes with H.264 which VMC cannot play unfortunately. I think W7 media center is rumored to be able to handle it.

    I also was hoping to use it to record sattelite on my HTPC. Oh well.
