you don't even know what you are talking about.
So... did you bother looking at the product before you spoke? the wdtv is great, but this is not a competing product, imbecile. the wdtv doesn't record.. this does. this is a DVR/PVR, the WDTV is a media player.
There is certainly some overlap in the products capabilities, but their MAIN functions are so different that buying one over the other wouldn't have a damn bit of benefit for either of their target audiences.
Buy a clue, baconeer.

what is the capacity in GigaBytes or hours of TV recorded on this? Will this refuse to record like my dvd recorder when "recording blocking signals detected"
