This thing absolutely rocks. My favorite electronic device. I can record anything on my Dish DVR, transfer it (admittedly, it goes digital -> analog -> digital) at 720p, and I end up with a gorgeous 8GB or 4GB file that I can burn onto a DVD disk (Bluray format that plays on the PS3). The best part is since audio transfer is optical, it preserves the 5.1 audio perfectly.
