Looks like its the only device that can record HD component video out there. It has component video in and optical audio in.
At $100.00 I'm in.
unfortunately, it won't work with Windows Media Center to schedule recordings, etc. The encoding is H.264, which is not yet supported by WMC. It's in their FAQ on hauppage.com
