Newegg has the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual TV Tuner 1229 for $113 - coupon code EMCLWMW72 [Exp 8/24] = $106 with free shipping. This dual tuner card from Hauppauge lets you watch and record two different TV channels, and it doesn't matter if they're digital or analog.
that's what i use it for and this is a good one as far as i can tell. signal sensativity is good. no issues with vista compatibility. dual digital channels OTA. get the version with the remote (retail version?)... the remote is worth the extra dollars and not sure if this one comes with it. they usually have good photos on newegg.
Yes they do, but many OEM items will have photos showing stuff you won't get unless you buy the retail version. Not that big of a deal as long as you know it, read the fine print.
Must have been a one day deal. Price is up for OEM and retail versions now. Looks like a nice card either way, but if I didn't have the remote already then I'd go for the retail.
thinkin hard about this, should i get it?
i'm planning on using it strictly for OTA HD channels with an HD antenna

The question is; Can I steal cable with this?
Question
Can I install two tuners in a Vista Hope Premium PVR to record three channels at one time?
We have Charter Cable.
#6 I think VMC caps you at 2 tuners. You need to add the hard-to-find TVpack or upgrade to Win7 for more. Or look for a media center hack.
