does this require an ISP?
#1 - No, you don't need an ISP. You just plug it into your brain and the wireless waves convert to brain waves that fill the useless void called your head.
I think they took this right off the back of Stephen's motorized wheelchair.
Oh look, a tabletop rectal pacifier.
So in other words we won't be hearing from you for a while #4?
These do work well as a directional antenna. Ulgy as all hell.
Nicely done, #3... he's dead now, so you're safe.
Don't waist your money, this will improve your reception maybe 10%.
hey #7, when did that little whore-chaser croak?
You're thinking of the hand-held mechanical model, Iiii cannn tyyypppe juuuussst fiiiine.
#7 used his time machine to go into the future and read Stevie's obit.
So many punks with too much time on their hands. Can someone please post what this does and how well it works? Or are you all just going to keep trying too hard to be something you're not?
#2 where can I get the adapter to plug into my brain?
I would've thought if you were interested in it, that'd be because you knew. It's a USB network adapter for 802.11g/b (used by the client PCs). It has a dish instead of the typical rubber ducky or strip antenna so that it can be directionally aimed at a signal for better concentration and more noise rejection (from other background signals).
That's the theory of how dishes work, in practice a cheap little one doesn't make much difference unless the airwaves were very noisey and these days those looking for longer range would usually be better off moving to 802.11n but that might mean replacing more than one piece of networking gear while some already have 802.11g gear.
