while i wont comment on which format is better, i would definitely consider this a good deal. i got heroes, battlestar galactica, and 4 movies (the best of hddvd collection) for $30.
sellout.woot.com has a new HD DVD player for 44.99.
$10 really isn't good for HD when you can get many Blu-ray title for about $15 on sale.
#43, those are entire seasons. heroes is 6 discs, battlestar galactica is 3 discs.
I would consider getting HD DVD player if it was cheap enough. Where can I get one?
I guess this is decent deals if you have HD-DVD player... I havent seen a cheap and decent one in awhile...
Does anybody read these posts before they add a comment? Like... where can I still get an HD Player? Geesh...
you get the stuff twice you can still sell it on ebay for a small profit.
I bought a Toshiba HD-DVD player recently off of Ebay for $60 shipped. I only bought it because it is a great upscale DVD player. I have no intention on buying HD-DVD's for it though.
As for Blue-Ray, I'll pass until there is some worth to upgrading, the players and DVD's are cheaper, and the DRM becomes a non-issue. Until then regular DVD's are better for the money.
Wait for bluray, avoid being obsolete.
Purchased the Sopranos boxsets yesterday and received a cancellation email today.
They don't have any I want.
Yikes, all gone.
