Looks kind'a cheezy...
The rubber grip on my few year old $79 Craftsman has gotten too sticky to touch, but the $21 like this one I got as a gift is still working just as well, and I can hold on to it.
^ As the rubber degrades oil leeches out of it, depending on the composition either a petroleum solvent or very strong detergent solution should be able to get the goo off.
