I can't imagine why this one wouldn't. There is no other way you can split off the audio.
Of course it has audio. Although invisible, the other end is an HDMI out, which feeds both video and audio.
Still, at $5 on ebay, the Component cord (5 wire) is still a better deal these days and gets you the same video quality.
Yes, but it is 5 wires vs. 1. Anything to reduce the clutter. I don't know if it's worth $40 though.
