    It seems that every week these graphics cards go down another $10.

    Clearly, this is by far the best single video card for the money. nVidia's competition for this card still costs well over $200.

    If you've got a motherboard with crossfire support, however, you can instead get two Radeon 4850's for $80 each. Those together are definitely faster than this video card, and you'll save $10.

    saving $10 up front to buy 2 x 4850 video cards hardly seems like a deal when you have to fork out $10 more each month on your electric bill.

    It's not going to cost $10 a month. Remember, they go into power saving mode when you aren't running a 3d app, which is most of the time.

    And, you aren't just saving $10 up front, you're getting higher performance. two 4850's are noticeably faster than one 4890.

    If you are running apps at very high res (1920x1200 or higher) I think the 512mb framebuffer of the 2x 4850 would probably limit you. And don't forget probably needing a better powersupply for the 2x 4850.

    i put a new card in my vista machine the windows expierence went from a 2.8 to a 8 I see a huge difference on google earth. i'm wating to install real flight.
