Last year, the Hitachi 3TB Touro was introduced and was on sale for $120 and I didnt buy it. With sales tax, this "closeout" is almost as much as the 3tb was when that was on sale. However, the 3tb Touro external drives are around $190 so this 2tb is a deal if you need one. I purchased this one because I'm out of space and I'm not going to wait till BLACK FRIDAY to get this for $80.
On a positive note, Hitachi HDs are more reliable than WD or Seagate.
