Unless you really need USB storage today, I'd advise waiting for USB3. Mass adoption is likely to happen very soon and the speed differential for a hard drive should be noticeable.

totally agree with you but, even so all USB drives nowadays are not using the full speed of their capability, they are all limited in my opinion by the HDD specs itself. they say 480Mbps transfer rate on this thing but let me know if you get any close to that.
If the price is right i have no issue buying it.
