I loved this vacuum up until the minute my not-completely-together roommate left it in our old apartment because he didn't have enough space (and didn't let me know). The cord rewind function is kinda awesome. It brought me joy every time I hit the pedal to "rewind" it. I would always think of all the suckers who have to wind the cord by hand..... which is me again.
Can't you just sell his kidneys and buy a replacement?
