Usenet may become more popular once you pirates out there start getting letters in the mail of documented illegal downloads from your ISP address. The Copyright Alert System launched February 25 so if you download pirated files, music or movies BEWARE.
^ That would be an improvement for some, my ISP will suspend service at the first allegation of copyright violation without any warning that they're about to cut it ahead of time... no call, no letter, no dispute period, though the customer can call in to get the account active again.
