I have this monitor and it is all but useless in the shown portrait orientation due to extremely limited viewing angle.
Good call #1....hadn't thought of that. I couldn't figure out much use for it that way...but with the poor viewing angle....wow, you're right.
This thing is for the astronauts. They are usually in unconventional positions and situations, hence the vertical.
This thing is perfect for bedtime, you can see from bottom up from that vertical position
Is this really a refurb or overpriced junk (refer to #1 post) that HP wasn't able to unload?
Not sure #5 but this monitor has been demonstrated to be one of the best TN panels for color accuracy, and that's saying a lot.
Google the user reviews, this monitor is extremely popular and most of them are very satisfied owners.
I researched and debated this HP monitor on and off for a few months, eventually i fell in love with the 28" I-inc (Hanns-G) monitor so i went with that instead.
yes. bedtime use only. get a remote and you're good to go!
if the viewing angle didn't kill portrait mode, it might be good in a set of three of them in portrait with an eyefinity setup.. oh dwell..
Good for Office! Prevents other people to snoop on u!
I have 2 of them, both de-branded. Best monitors I've ever owned especially for the price.
One of mine was the "h" model that has an hdmi port...sweet!
Viewing angle is not that bad at all.
