Good deal in for 10.
I had these before and I was not pleased with them. If you want quality burns with reliable data storage, these disk may not be for you. I had about 1/3 of the 100 disk I had test poor with some failures in there too. Not really worth the time or wear and tear on my burner having to test each disk after burning just to see if the data was good. Run Nero DiskSpeed and test the quality of your disk after burning. Quality was improved when burning at 4x or less. If you burn at 16x, you may as well same the time and throw the disk in the trash before burning.
I might be to picky about my data but I do know that a poor burn on a disk does not heal itself over time. It will only degrade as time goes by.
I always burn at 8x and verify after. will take a chance on these
I have use before, everyone works perfect. Not one bad burn. I think is your buner or software might having problems. Myself I prefer Verbatim. I just bought 20 pack for 100.49 after 25 dollars coupon. Cant' beat that.. Makes Perfect Christmas Presents..
I haven't had a problem with these discs, but ymmv. I haven't come across a disc that went bad yet.
In the old days (CDRW) burners had firmware updates that improved compatibility with certain types of discs. Not sure but would assume same is true today with DVDR/W. That wouldn't turn a poor disc into a good one but if that's the problem...
I have both the +R and the -R, been burning movies, data, etc., no problems.
Check these reviews.
Lot of COASTERS.

The HP 4.7GB 16X DVD+R disks are actually CMC MAG. M01 disks and the -R disks are made by CMC MAG also. To get an idea of the quality of these disk; check this page:

This is a very good site for information on storage devices and media. Also "verify" is not the same as quality check of the disk. For the most part verify is nothing more than checking that the proper file names are burnt and the structure on the disk is OK. This does not make sure the files on the burnt disk can be read back. To check that files are in good condition, the software will take the same amount of time, or more, to read the disk as it did to burn the disk. From a post by getit29 on the above site about CMC disks:
"Now as for the CMC discs you will want to do a quality test on them right after burning them to
make sure they burned right as that is where the problem is. getting a good burn from them
to start with and re-do the quality scan every month or two to make sure they are not degrading
to much so you don't loose all your data on them. Usually if you get a good burn to start with they
are pretty good about lasting but I still wouldn't want to put anything on them that is un-replaceable."
