Like all refurb laptops you should expect this to come with a dead battery. If you're just looking for a basic internet device that you keep plugged into the wall this would be okay. If you're going to try and use it like a real laptop then you'll probably want to buy a replacement battery, more RAM, and a bigger HD. Once you do all that you'll probably be better off getting something new instead. Basic Core i3 machines are going for around $400 right now.
