$11 bug for a mouse pad, what a deal

IKEA cutting boards also make excellent textured, stable mouse pads.

good: The pad is thin and allows the mouse to track well.

bad: The textured surface makes a fine sand paper and wears down the bottom of your mouse. The non-slip base slips, constantly having to move it back in place. After a few months of use it no longer lays flat, tending to lift in the middle an 1/8" or so unless pressing down. Not an issue when using, but aesthetically annoying.
