Actually it is a laser mouse so it would make a nice 'free' backup. I don't think they will over pay you but what you actually paid for the mouse...but then again maybe they will!

What if they don't mail you a rebate check, saying soem of your documents are missing? That's how rebate works.
Keep records of your rebate and you won't run into any problems...
