It also has wheels on one end so you can pull it behind you like carry-on luggage.

#2 no option for larger screen. This seems like a pretty good deal. Free upgrade to 3GB RAM and $100 more to upgrage to a Blu-Ray burner! Can't get that anywhere. Can anyone share experiences with HP's laptop extended warranty?

I've had an HP Pavilion ZE5185 laptop since 2001, and it has been a great machine. The power connector has become loose in the last 6 months, but hey, it's 7 years old. This HDX 18t just may be its replacement!!

I bought this machine described below 2 months ago.

      • 3GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
      • 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

      • No Productivity Software
      • HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope

Just under $1,500. The machine was out of the box flawless. Everything from the camera to the intergrated bluetooth works without any issues. I use the machine for movies (hence the remote control) and for playing WOW. It runs WOW on max settings with no issues, but then again, it is an old graphics engine. The sound is excelent. The only thing that I would have done differently is not opted for the 12 cell battery. It is huge and very heavy. I would not be exaggerating to say it sticks out of the bottom of the machine over an inch and runs nearly the whole way across the back-bottom of the width. On the upside, the battery tilts the keyboard comfortably forward and gives the underside of the machine more space to breath, thus cool.

One caution... if your sole purpose is to stream netflicks movies then the upgraded monitor is not for you. For some reason streamed netflick movies are soft and fuzzy, while movies on Bluray and DVD ar... [Truncated]

Ok, it's 2:04AM and the waiting has begun. I just placed my order using this coupon! I did deviate a bit from the recommended specs but with roughly 30% savings I could not pass up beefing up a few things. I upgraded to a T9400 (2.53GHz) processor; upgraded the optical drive to the BluRay burner; and, finally, added the HDTV Hybrid Tuner. These were the only things I changed and I debated for a long time before going through with it but comparable systems with same or close specs could not beat the final price, at least not as "new-in-box" condition. Ok ... Ok ... I know you want the final price ... it ended up being $1,407.27! I did get the deluxe microfibre cleaning cloth! And there is a choice of 2 printers that qualify for the $70.00 rebate. I picked the D4360. With Circuit City going out of bussiness, I may just go out and see about maxing the memory on this baby as well as maybe upgrading to Vista Ultimate 64-Bit. I have to say that it was not until the very last page in the payment process that you find the spot to put the coupon code. I was a bit apprehensive as I went through the ordering process since I expected to see the coupon entry area right at the beggining of the payment process. I figured I had nothing to worry about until I put any CC info down. In any case, I wanted to share with everyone my experience with this coupon and the deal it got me. Obviously, a great big thanks to BensBargains.net and TheCouponbay.com for the heads up. I will keep them both on my favorites and pass on the link to others. THANK YOU!
